MISSIONS

We believe that everyone is called to missions when he or she accepts Christ as Savior! Because of the Great Commission, we know that the Holy Spirit is with us, and He will guide us to have gospel conversations each day if we look for opportunities to share Christ. Check out how we serve in organized missional efforts below!

International Mission Board

The International Mission Board helps local Southern Baptist Churches like ours take the gospel to the ends of the earth! We support them through a percentage of our giving, as well as through the annual Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We look forward to announcing opportunities in the future on how you can go on mission across the world.

North American Mission Board

The North American Mission Board provides our region and our military service with missionaries and chaplains who are sharing Christ throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the islands. We support them through a percentage of our giving, as well as through the annual Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Currently, we are developing a plan to pray, give, and go in North America through the Send City Network.

Southern Baptist of Texas Convention:
Disaster Relief

When disasters strike, the needs are great. We help to answer the call through the Southern Baptists Disaster Relief efforts. There are many statewide mission efforts we support by giving to the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. From training to deploying, you can be involved in mission in the great state of Texas. We support the SBTC through a percentage of our giving, as well as through the annual Reach Texas Offering.

Women's Choice Resource Center

In 1993, Sagamore (Hill) Baptist Church began this work in the East Fort Worth area. Burdened over the issue of abortion, a team created a plan and God moved every need into place, orchestrating a ministry in the way only He could! Today, this crisis pregnancy center ministers to women and families who are unsure of the future. They graciously encourage and provide ways for families to choose life and to know the One who gives it!

Local Mission Opportunities

Be a part of our quarterly Rise Up and Go Sundays, where we pray and go out in our local community to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Serve a semester in afternoon Good News Clubs at Dunn Elementary on Thursdays. There are many local mission opportunities you can be a part of in East Fort Worth and Arlington that we will be glad to connect you to!
