CLASS OPTIONS —

Bible Summary – Jan McKenna

As the original Sagamore Institute class (The Pentateuch) of 2019-2020 summarized the first

five books of the Bible, this class will continue the journey by beginning with a summary of

Joshua, continuing through Judges, Ruth, First Samuel, and ending our trek this time with

Second Samuel. (Material will be provided at no charge.)

Applying Biblical Principles to Life – Richlon Merrill

We all deal with various life and relational issues. Through video teaching and follow-up

discussion, this class will show you how to apply Biblical Truth to various life issues, not only to

your own life, but to come alongside others who are struggling as well. We are admonished in

Scripture to encourage, admonish, and teach one another. This class will show you how to do

just that.

(Material will be provided at no charge.)

New Testament Greek – Dr. Charles Martin

Do you have a desire to learn New Testament Greek to enhance your study of Scripture? The opportunity to learn the basics of the original Greek language of the New Testament has arrived! This will be an interactive learning experience using a Greek New Testament with a companion workbook, starting with the Greek alphabet and basic vocabulary.

(The cost for the material is $30. If scholarship is needed, please speak with the Pastor.)

The Biblical Covenants – Dr. Ken Cooper

This study will examine the six covenants of the Old Testament beginning with the Covenant

with Noah to discover the elements of each, the purpose of each, the provisions of each; in

addition it will examine how they fit together, as well as various aspects of each as they fit into

the plan of God overall.

(Material will be provided at no charge.)

Baptist Faith & Message – Pastor Denny Gorena

After studying the original 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith which Southern Baptists held to, we now turn our attention to the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message to compare and see from where we’ve been to where we are now.

(Material will be provided at no charge.)

English as a Second Language – Janet Walker

This is an opportunity for us to help our community members who desire to learn English as their second language!
