Adult Bible Fellowship Classes

Our Adult Bible Fellowship will continue to meet right now as it is due to the size of most of our Adult Bible Fellowship Classes. As we meet in the Fellowship Hall, we are able to better space out to help keep the distancing between people. Here is the teaching schedule for the Adult Bible Fellowship Class:

  • February 7: Rich Merrill
  • February 14: Ozell Birks
  • February 21: Merlene McCord
  • February 28: Leon Ingram
  • March 7: Sherry Thomason
  • March 14: Ken Cooper
  • March 21: Vickie Owens

Beginning on February 7, 2021, we will begin a new Parenting Bible Fellowship Class with Pastor Louis in one of the Adult Bible Fellowship classrooms at 9:00 a.m. He will continue to use the current curriculum but will enhance the studies toward parenting children and students. We are looking forward to seeing how the Lord will help us reach young families for His glory!

Wednesdays at Sagamore

Beginning on February 10, 2021, we will begin our in-person Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study class in the Fellowship Hall; this class will also be online for those who are unable to make the in-person gathering.

Also starting on February 10th our M&Ms (Music & Missions) for our Children’s Ministry with Pastors Taylor and Philip will spring into action! Parents will want to be looking out for more information in the coming weeks on our Sagamore Family Facebook page as well as emails from Pastor Taylor.

Of course our Student Ministry will continue to meet at its regular time as they have already been meeting. For more information, please contact Pastor Louis or Ms. Laura to subscribe to their text notifications for the Student Ministry

Widows’ Might Bible Study

We will be kicking off our Spring in-person Widows’ Might Bible study on February 11th at 12:00 pm! This is a time for our widows to come together for a time of fellowship and Bible study on Thursdays. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall where there will be enough room for us to meet and to help us keep the social distancing protocols in place.

Choir

Pastor Philip will keep all of our musicians and choirs informed by email or text messages as we progress through the Spring when it will be safe to regather our choirs. Right now, we will have this as part of our Phase 4 Re-Gathering Plan.

For your information: after every meeting that we have in our facilities, we are sanitizing everything as thoroughly as possible. This includes (but is not limited to) restrooms, the Worship Center, the Fellowship Hall, classrooms, Children’s and Students’ Ministry areas, etc. However, we strongly recommend that you continue to wear face masks and to continually wash your hands and practice social distancing as best as possible just for the protection of each other. My Staff and I continue to evaluate and re-evaluate what is happening in our area and what the Centers for Disease Control is informing the public

If you have any further questions about the various ministries that will be regathering, feel free to give our office a call or you may contact any of our Pastors to help give you guidance and direction as we begin our Phase 3 Regathering Plan. And in the meantime, thank you for following as many protocols as possible over this last year and even now. God has been faithful to our Fellowship, so let us be faithful to Him and re-gather safely and without hesitation.
